Packages and Pricing
Our services range in pricing based on the scope of the project, but no one likes sticker shock. These are not hard-fast rules, and we do select projects to work on with adjusted rates based on a number of factors.
Some of our preferred rate projects include working with the 2SLGBTQIA+ and BIPOC communities, as well as projects for people of size and SWers. Here are some general guidelines you can use to get an idea of how much a booking would cost.

Performance Photography
Performances are art in motion. Nothing gets fans, performers and guests more excited than seeing thier favourite performers creating it. And nothing get us more excited than freezing those moments of joy and movement in time.
The standard package for live performance events, such as drag and burlesque, include un-capped watermarked images. This means that any image meeting our requirements during the editing and review process will be delivered to you. We can even add your production company’s logo as a watermark along with ours on the image for a professional result.
Digital images will be delivered via cloud storage.
Delivered photos are licensed under a Personal Release (Want to know more? Click here!) and can be upgraded to Commercial Release by performers or the production team for an additional cost.

Live Event Photography
Parties, galas, receptions and other functions challenge a photographer with multiple environments and subjects to capture the feel and tone of the event. From a photo journalistic style to a studio posing in a photo booth, MKM Photography can work in many situations, bringing experience and versatility to react on a dime and go with the flow.
Live Event Photography Coverage packages work on an hourly rate, enabiling you to cover some or all of your event.

Photography
Boudoir
Boudoir can mean a lot of different things to different people. When we talk about Boudoir at MKM Photography we are specifically referring to a new movement in this style of photography called Empowerment Boudoir. These images are not motivated by the male gaze. Photos taken through Empowerment Boudoir photographers should uplift you, help you see yourself in a new light, and embrace your body as it is here and now. Sessions are a little bit photography and a little bit therapy. We will work with you to ensure you feel safe so you can feel comfortable, emotionally vulnerable, and physically relax. In doing so we will find those in between moments through movement, posing and laughter to show your inner glow.
Packages for Empowerment Boudoir vary depending on the kind of images you would like to create. Our base cost includes 8 Personally Licensed images, with more available a la carte. Not sure what this means? Click here!
Clients are expected to arrive ready to shoot, arriving styled with hair and makeup for the best results possible. If you need help in any of these areas we are happy to help you style your look and connect you with professional Hair and Makeup Artists in your area. You can also choose additional styling choices, such as hotel rooms, at additional cost. We will determine through the consultation process the best set up for you.

Photography
Headshots
Headshots are professional portraits that engage your audience and client base. They are a representation of who you are and the social image you wish to impress. An important part of your brand, headshots that create impact can say a lot about you. We use both studio and natural light to help communicate who you are.
Our basic headshot package includes 3 images broken down into 1 Commercially Licensed image and 2 Personal Release images. You will be in complete control of which images you choose and any changes you may wish to make by selecting them and adding notes directly to your favourite images in our digital gallery. Clients are expected to arrive ready to shoot, complete with styling, hair and makeup for the best results possible. If you need help in any of these areas we are happy to consult and connect you with professional Hair and Makeup Artists in your area.

Personal vs. Commercial Release
License
Personal Release
A personal release license is just that: personal. This license enables your images to be used by you, for your enjoyment, whether posted to social media or printed for your wall. These images are intended to be seen, and used, as delivered without further editing, manipulation or used in publishing in any way.

Commercial Release
Want a little more control and a lot more reach? Commercial Release Licensing is for you! Commercially licensed images are delivered edited and ready to use, but you can continue the creative control from there. We will provide photos in the largest resolution possible and you can manipulate the image any way you wish, such as additional editing, adding overlays, and even monetizing the image through commercial profit and benefit. While you are covered to use these images through print media, plaster it larger than life on billboards, buses or book covers, this license does not include the release to resell the digital image itself.
